Matt Stevens’s music really needs no introduction. The London-based guitarist and loop artist has already made his name in the free music world and beyond that. But still, you might haven’t heard his stuff. If you haven’t, do yourself a favour and listen (and download) to his newest release “Relic” - it’s simply a fantastic journey through today’s temporary progressive rock and postrock ideas. This is not the usual cheesy retro stuff, that is sold under the label progressive rock, but au contraire it’s pure energy and creativity.
